Valvon – Mobile operated Motorized Valves
A Decade of Valve Expertise, Evolved with IoT
Sensoware has been manufacturing motorized valves since 2015, building years of experience in reliable water flow control. Valvon takes this expertise into the connected era with a range of internet-enabled motorized valves designed specifically for agricultural water management.
By combining the valve, electric actuator, control electronics and GSM internet connectivity into a complete connected solution, Valvon allows irrigation valves to be operated beyond traditional local switches or control panels. With built-in GSM SIM connectivity, the valve connects directly to the internet without depending on Wi-Fi at the installation location.
Using the Sensoware App, farmers, farm managers and irrigation operators can remotely open or close valves, create irrigation schedules, monitor valve position feedback and build smart automations with other compatible Sensoware devices—all from their mobile.

Smart Irrigation Control, Anywhere
Agricultural valves are often installed across fields, farms and irrigation pipelines where physically reaching every valve can be inconvenient and time-consuming.
Valvon enables these valves to be operated remotely through the internet.
Whether the valve is installed near a borewell, irrigation pipeline, field distribution line or another agricultural water system, the user can access the valve through the Sensoware App from a supported internet-connected mobile device.
This makes Valvon suitable for both individual farm installations and larger irrigation systems involving multiple valves.
GSM Connected, No Wi-Fi Needed
Valvon connects to the internet using an integrated GSM SIM connection.
This makes it particularly suitable for agricultural locations where conventional broadband or Wi-Fi connectivity may not be available near the valve.
Where supported mobile network coverage is available, the valve can communicate with the Sensoware cloud platform and Sensoware App through the mobile network.
The SIM used with Valvon is provided and managed by Sensoware Automation Private Limited (SAPL) and remains the property of SAPL.
GSM connectivity and associated cloud services are provided under an annual subscription model, with applicable subscription charges communicated separately.

Truly Wireless Valves – Solar Powered
Valvon can be powered using solar energy, making it suitable for agricultural fields where a continuous electrical power supply may not be readily available. With GSM connectivity and solar power, each valve can operate as an independent connected irrigation point without depending on Wi-Fi or nearby electrical wiring.
This makes it practical to deploy multiple Valvon devices across different areas of a farm, including locations far from the main pump or control panel. Each valve remains connected to the Sensoware platform, allowing remote operation, scheduling, automation and status monitoring through the Sensoware App.
Solar Power + GSM Connectivity + Smart Automation — built for irrigation across the field.
Control Valvon with the Sensoware App
Valvon is operated using the Sensoware App, available for Android through Google Play Store.
Once the Valvon device is added to the user’s account, its controls and current device status can be accessed directly from the app.
The Sensoware App is designed for compatible Sensoware smart devices, allowing Valvon and other supported Sensoware products to work within the same connected ecosystem.

Open & Close Your Valve from Anywhere
With Valvon connected to the internet, the user can send Open and Close commands directly from the Sensoware App.
This allows irrigation water flow to be controlled without travelling to the physical valve location for every operation.
The command is communicated through the Sensoware cloud platform to the Valvon controller, which operates the motorized valve accordingly.
For farms with valves distributed over different areas, mobile operation provides a convenient way to manage water distribution from a single app.
Real-Time Valve Position Feedback
Remote operation becomes more useful when the user can also receive feedback from the valve.
Valvon incorporates Open and Close position feedback, enabling the system to report the valve’s operating position back to the Sensoware App.
Instead of relying only on the command that was sent, the user can see feedback from the valve after operation.
This provides better visibility when managing irrigation valves remotely.

Automate Irrigation with Smart Scheduling
Routine irrigation operations can be automated using Scheduling in the Sensoware App.
Users can configure Valvon to operate according to predetermined timings, reducing the need to manually open or close the valve every day.
Schedules can be created around the irrigation requirement, including operation based on configured time and waiting periods.
This is useful for repetitive agricultural irrigation routines where water needs to be supplied to different areas at different times.
Smarter Automation with Sensy AI
Sensy AI helps validate your automation before it is saved, making it easier to build reliable automation flows in the Sensoware App. It reviews the configured conditions, actions, timings, waiting periods and sequences to check how the complete automation will operate.
For more complex automations, Sensy AI can analyse the sequence and guide which action or block should come next, helping users create the intended workflow with greater confidence.
Whether it is scheduled operation, event-based automation, waiting periods or cyclic sequences, Sensy AI adds an intelligent validation layer to help you configure your automation correctly.

Smart Automation Between Connected Devices
Valvon can do more than follow a timer.
The Sensoware App supports device event-based automation between compatible Sensoware devices. This enables actions from one device to be used as a condition for operating another device.
For example, an automation can be configured so that when a Valvon valve opens, a compatible pump controller turns the pump ON.
Similarly, when the required valve conditions are no longer present, another automation can be configured to turn the pump OFF.
This allows Valvon to become part of a coordinated irrigation control system rather than operating as an isolated motorized valve.
Share Valvon with People You Trust
A Valvon device does not have to be controlled from only one user’s phone.
The device owner can share access with selected users, allowing family members, farm supervisors, operators or other authorised persons to access the device through their own Sensoware accounts.
This makes it easier to manage agricultural installations where more than one person is responsible for irrigation operations.
The owner remains in control of whom the device is shared with.

Stay Informed with Online & Offline Alerts
Because Valvon is an internet-connected device, knowing its connectivity status is important for remote operation.
The Sensoware App can provide push notifications for device Online and Offline events, helping users know when a Valvon device loses connectivity or comes back online.
This is particularly useful for remotely installed agricultural valves where the user may otherwise be unaware of a connectivity interruption.
Manage Multiple Valvon Devices in Group View
Agricultural irrigation often requires multiple valves to control water flow across different areas. With Group View in the Sensoware App, related Valvon devices can be organized into groups based on irrigation zones, crops or locations.
Users can view and control multiple valves from a single group interface, making it easier to manage larger irrigation networks and operate grouped valves together.

Valve Sizes from 1″ to 6″

Valvon is available in a range of valve sizes to suit different agricultural pipelines and flow requirements.
The range extends from 1 inch to 6 inch, providing options for smaller irrigation lines as well as larger water distribution pipelines.
The appropriate valve size can be selected according to the existing pipeline size, flow requirement and application.
