Camera

The Application may request access to your device’s camera when you choose to scan a QR code, such as when adding or configuring a Sensoware device.

Camera access is used for scanning the required code. Sensoware does not use camera access for advertising or unrelated tracking purposes.

Bluetooth

The Application may use Bluetooth to discover, connect to, configure, provision, or communicate with compatible Sensoware devices.

Bluetooth access is used only when required for connected-device functionality.

Wi-Fi and Network Information

The Application may access network or Wi-Fi-related information when necessary to connect to the internet, discover compatible networks, provision a Sensoware device, or configure network connectivity for a connected device.

Wi-Fi credentials provided for device provisioning are used for the purpose of configuring the selected device.

Location

Certain Android versions or device features may require location-related permission for Bluetooth or nearby-device discovery, Wi-Fi scanning, or related connectivity functionality.

Where location permission is required, it is used only for functionality that requires such permission. Sensoware does not use location information for advertising or unrelated user tracking.

Notifications

With your permission, the Application may send push notifications concerning connected devices, alerts, automation events, account information, security information, service information, or other relevant Sensoware functionality.

A device notification token or similar identifier may be processed to deliver these notifications.

You can control notification permissions through your mobile device settings.

Deleting your account is different from simply signing out of the Application or uninstalling it from your device.

Requesting Account Deletion Through Our Website

You may also request deletion of your Sensoware account and associated data through the account deletion facility provided on the Sensoware website or by contacting Sensoware using the contact information provided below.

We may need to verify your identity before processing an account deletion request to prevent unauthorised deletion.

When your Sensoware account is deleted, Personal Data associated with that account will be deleted or anonymised as appropriate, except where we are required or permitted to retain specific information for legitimate purposes such as legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or regulatory requirements.
